The decision to remove these flights from Shannon was made for financial reasons. There was no consultation with local communities, trade unions, businesses or organisations in making this decision.

Aer Lingus is the national airline of Ireland. It has a responsibility to the all people in this nation It should support the clear social and economic need for direct flights to Shannon.
